Understandably, there is a lot of uncertainty and anxiety about the Corona Virus. We are committed to ensuring your health and safety as well as our team’s health and safety.
Sleep affects your immunity and since sleep apnea is a very serious condition that can lead to other health problems if left untreated, we are pleased to inform you that we continue to see patients and address their needs. We have implemented measures recommended by CDC and other agencies, such as health screening for patients and employees, telemedicine appointments, drive-through services, digital impressions, social distancing, sterilization and disinfecting. We continue to monitor the CDC guidelines for best practices and to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for you.
Below is a summary of the steps currently in place to ensure your safety.
Employees have been strictly required to practice social distancing outside of our treatment rooms. Employees are also having their temperatures monitored daily.
We ask you to practice social distancing in our reception area or wait in your car if preferred. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used in our office, which includes gowns, eye-protective wear with side protection, masks and gloves are designed to ensure that no body fluids can be passed between staff and patients.
When possible, you have the option to remain in your vehicle (i.e., during your device delivery or dropping your device for repair) please call us for details.
Real-time, audio-video consultations are available, call us to schedule.
Also known as 3-D intraoral scanning, the latest technology in capturing a replica of the mouth by using a wand-like camera. It’s clean, fast and more comfortable.
Strict surface sterilization procedures are followed to clean and disinfect all operatory surfaces between patients and, after each use.
As a result of the current coronavirus concern, we have taken added precautions in the common areas. All magazines and pamphlets have been removed. Lobby surfaces are disinfected regularly. In addition, hand sanitizer is available to all patients.
According to the CDC, the most important steps we all can take to avoid infection from airborne diseases are frequent hand washing with soap and water and regular cleansing of highly used surfaces with disinfectant. We recommend that all our patients take these basic precautions. For more information please visit https://www.cdc.gov/
